These Terms of Service govern your use of Imali, a personal finance application developed and operated by Unqo Digital Solutions CC, registered in Namibia. By using Imali, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Imali app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
These terms apply to all users of Imali, including users on the Free, Pro, and Business tiers.
2. Description of Service
Imali is a personal finance management application that allows users to:
- Log income and expenses through natural language chat
- Track recurring bills and receive payment reminders
- View AI-generated financial summaries and spending insights
- Manage multiple financial books and budgets
- Monitor foreign exchange rates for multi-currency transactions
Imali is a personal finance tool only. It is not a bank, financial institution, or regulated financial services provider.
3. User Accounts
To use Imali, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. Subscription Plans
Imali offers the following plans:
- Free: 1 book, up to 50 transactions per month, basic chat logging
- Pro (N$49/month): unlimited books, unlimited transactions, AI summaries, live FX rates, widget, streaks
- Business (N$99/month): everything in Pro, CSV export, priority support, multiple currency books
Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Imali to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent transaction data
6. Financial Disclaimer
Important: Imali is a personal budgeting tool only. The AI summaries, forecasts, and insights provided by Imali are for informational purposes and do not constitute financial advice. We are not a licensed financial advisor. Always consult a qualified financial professional for important financial decisions.
Exchange rate data is sourced from third-party providers and may not be real-time or accurate for all transactions. Do not rely solely on Imali for exchange rate information in commercial transactions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Imali, including the app design, code, branding, and AI models, are owned by Unqo Digital Solutions CC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your transaction data and financial records remain your property. We claim no ownership over the data you enter into Imali.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account.
Upon termination, your right to use Imali ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Namibian law, Unqo Digital Solutions CC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Imali, including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or loss of profits.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Imali shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Imali after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.
